Our client, a forward-thinking company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their fully remote data science team. This role is essential for leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to drive business insights, optimize operations, and inform strategic decision-making across the organization. You will be instrumental in developing and deploying predictive models that forecast consumer behavior, optimize supply chains, personalize marketing campaigns, and enhance product development. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization. Your responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets, identifying key trends and patterns, building sophisticated predictive models, and communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, experience with SQL, and familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) are essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy advanced predictive models and machine learning algorithms. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and project goals. Communicate complex findings and recommendations through data visualizations and reports. Build and maintain data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity. Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth. Optimize model performance and implement solutions into production environments. Identify opportunities to leverage data for business growth and operational efficiency. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science or a related analytical role. Proven experience in developing and implementing predictive models for business applications. Strong proficiency in Python or R, and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Expertise in SQL and experience working with large databases. Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. Excellent data visualization skills (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience working in a fully remote team environment.
