Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational risk management and ensure adherence to the firm’s risk framework.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across processes, systems, and business activities.
- Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, incident management, and scenario analysis.
- Advise senior management on risk exposure, ratings, and remediation plans.
- Oversee regulatory and compliance matters, including responses to SFC/MAS and other regulators.
- Ensure alignment with applicable regulations (HKEX, SFC, SGX, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, SOX, Basel, Volcker).
- Drive BCP oversight and operational excellence initiatives focused on risk and controls.
- Deliver risk analytics, reporting, and management information to support decision-making.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Risk, Compliance, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services, preferably in securities.
- Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks and regulatory requirements in Asia.
- Experience managing regulatory inquiries and compliance reviews.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Risk, audit, or control background preferred; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.
