Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted risk partner to front office, investment, and support functions across Singapore.
- Oversee suitability of current product suite, conduct and risk matters including client profiling, sales practices, surveillance, and related controls.
- Drive operational risk initiatives including incident management, RCSA, control testing, policy enhancements, and governance reporting.
- Monitor emerging risks, prepare management dashboards, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Support new business initiatives, process improvements, and regulatory change projects.
- Promote a strong risk culture through advisory support, challenge, and training across the business.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Business Risk, Controls, Compliance, or Conduct Risk within private banking / asset management.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, suitability frameworks, and control environments.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
- Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior exposure to MAS regulatory environment is advantageous.
