Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Capital Equipment

An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading, global manufacturer of machinery and equipment into a number of technical and engineering industries, for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its team in Bishops Stortford.

THE ROLE

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and documentation associated with the electrical systems of highly complex electromechanical machinery. Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in executing product development and validation.Responsibilities include:

• Lead system and subsystem level design for New Product Development Projects.
• Electrical, Control and Instrumentation System design/development and testing/validation
• Apply code/standard guidelines and requirements to develop compliant product design.
• Participate in writing requirements, test protocol, test reports and other project and regulatory documentation
• Ensure development and execution of appropriate test plans

THE PERSON

In order to succeed in the role of Senior Electrical Engineer the ideal candidate will be HND/Degree qualified and have experience of developing products specifically machinery. You will needs good experience of electrical systems inculing 3 phase and single phase. Experience of leading a team and running projects is essential to fulfill this Senior Electrical Engineer role.
