Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (Physical IT/Telecom/AV/Security infrastructure) with proven interest in building design and construction. As part of our technology design group, you will work closely with clients and a design engineering team focused on implementing IT/Telecommunications/AV/Security system design solutions for various project types. The role is located in the midtown Manhattan office in‑person.

Responsibilities Liaise between architects, clients, consultants, and project managers from multiple engineering trades. Make determinations on project construction budgets, reviewing bid documents, and overseeing the project bidding and project administration phase. Identify and implement cabling infrastructure requirements for each individual project. Verify proper installation of all technology infrastructure. Make recommendations for vendors. Qualifications Minimum of 8+ years or more of professional experience in designing IT, AV, and security systems. Knowledge of IT, AV, and security systems including but not limited to flow diagrams, rack elevations, and logic diagrams. Hands‑on experience with creating AV plans, engineering schematics, wiring diagrams. Knowledge of IT infrastructure including cabling, telecom room design, and pathways. Familiar with AV, security, and BICI standards. Proven experience with CAD and BIM software including AutoCAD and Revit. CTS Certified Technology Specialist a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills. Strong initiative and the ability to multi‑task. Education

BS in Electrical Engineering or similar.
