Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a specialization in Power Systems to join their engineering team in **Boston, Massachusetts**. Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical power systems, including substations, distribution networks, and generation interfaces. Perform power system studies, including load flow, fault analysis, stability studies, and arc flash analysis. Create detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Select and specify electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protective relays. Develop control and protection schemes for power systems. Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project design. Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases. Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues.
