Senior Electrical Engineer - Commercial Buildings (Hybrid)
Nashville, TN Hybrid Office-Based with 2 Days Onsite
Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic, employee-focused engineering firm known for its culture and career development. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years' experience in an A/E environment
- Proven success managing diverse electrical engineering projects
- Deep expertise in electrical systems design and knowledge of related disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and standards
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering projects from design through construction
- Supervise and mentor engineering staff to foster technical growth
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and quality control procedures
- Manage project documentation, deliverables, and client communications
- Support business development efforts and contribute to proposal preparation
