You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust power solutions for complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and analysis of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, and protection. Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control logic for power systems. Perform load flow, short circuit, and transient stability studies using industry-standard software. Specify power equipment such as transformers, switchgear, generators, and protection relays. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC), and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders on project requirements and design solutions. Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for new projects and system upgrades. Oversee the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of power systems. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles. Document designs, analyses, and testing procedures meticulously. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in power systems engineering. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in electrical power systems engineering. Proven expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD). Strong understanding of power system protection principles and equipment. Experience with renewable energy integration and microgrid design is a significant plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment. Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in an independent work setting.
