Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Our client, a prominent player in the global energy sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team in **Miami, Florida, US**. This role is critical for the design, development, and implementation of advanced power systems and renewable energy solutions. You will lead complex electrical engineering projects from conception through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include performing detailed electrical system design, load calculations, and fault analysis. You will be responsible for specifying equipment, preparing technical documentation, and overseeing the installation and testing of electrical infrastructure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including civil engineers, project managers, and external vendors, will be essential for project success. You will also be involved in troubleshooting electrical system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions. A deep understanding of power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, battery storage) is highly desirable.
