Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer - Hydropower.

Key Responsibilities

Specify, evaluate, and test power generation and power electronics systems

Design electrical architecture to convert mechanical energy into grid-ready power

Create test procedures and support failure analysis for deployed and in-development systems

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline (required)

10+ years of experience in power system design, preferably involving rotating equipment

Experience with generators, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, and associated infrastructure

Strong understanding of power flow, electrical protection, and grid interface requirements

Ability to work across disciplines and iterate in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
