Job Description

Senior Electronics and Electrical Manager - Exciting Opportunity in Shenzhen

We are looking for an accomplished and independent Senior Electronics and Electrical Engineer who combines deep technical skill with strong client-facing ownership. In this role, you will have full responsibility for the electronics and electrical delivery of products - from initial concept and architecture through design, validation, and production ramp. You will be the go-to technical expert, making key decisions, providing actionable feedback, and ensuring robust, manufacturable outcomes. Your day-to-day will involve hands‑on design, lab work, and factory collaboration, while also engaging directly with clients to shape requirements, present solutions, and build trust. This is a role for someone who wants to see their direct work and decisions have a major impact on product success.

Duties and Essential Job Functions

Take full ownership of the electronics and electrical systems for assigned projects - drive development, make technical calls, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Lead hands‑on hardware design: schematic capture, PCB layout (with DFM/DFT focus), component selection, prototyping, debugging, and validation.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients: run meetings, capture and refine requirements, provide clear design rationale, and manage technical communication.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans (functional, reliability, EMC, safety); design test fixtures and implement automated test workflows where beneficial.

Proactively identify and solve design, manufacturing, and supply‑chain challenges.

Work side‑by‑side with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams in Shenzhen to integrate and optimize the product for production.

Ensure all designs meet relevant compliance standards (safety, EMC, environmental).

Drive the manufacturing transfer process, support factory bring‑up, and resolve production issues with a hands‑on approach.

Contribute to team knowledge and process improvement based on practical experience.

Specific Skills

Preferred degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

8+ years of deep, hands‑on experience in electronics hardware design, embedded systems, and taking products from concept to high‑volume manufacturing.

Strong proficiency in analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, power electronics, and system integration.

Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, wireless modules (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi), and interfacing with firmware.

Solid understanding of EMC/EMI mitigation techniques and product compliance processes (CE, FCC, UL).

Proven ability to work independently, own outcomes, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly and build strong client relationships.

Experience with a variety of connected devices, smart home products, kitchen appliances, mobile tablets, network‑attached storage (NAS), and interactive smart toys would be preferred.

Proficient in English and Mandarin.

The role requires the successful applicant to be based in Shenzhen, working closely with our local team and factories.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight schedules.

Offer

A stable and stimulating working environment.

Working with a talented team in a fast‑growing company.

Good salary and benefits for suitable candidates.
