Senior End User Compute Engineer (Windows / Intune / Azure)
Location: New York City | Full-Time (In Office - No remote)
The Role
We’re looking for a senior, hands-on End User Compute Engineer to help architect and scale a modern, cloud-first endpoint environment.
This is not a support role. This is a build and optimize role focused on Windows endpoints, automation, and security at scale.
You’ll own the endpoint ecosystem end-to-end—working across Intune, SCCM, Azure, and identity-driven controls to create a seamless, secure user experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and manage a modern Windows endpoint environment
- Drive Intune + SCCM co-management strategy
- Build automation-first workflows using PowerShell
- Own device lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance
- Implement Zero Trust principles across endpoints
- Partner with security teams on device compliance + conditional access
- Act as the escalation point for complex EUC challenges and drive root cause fixes
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in enterprise EUC / endpoint engineering
- Deep experience with:
- Intune (Endpoint Manager)
- SCCM / MECM
- Group Policy (GPO)
- Strong PowerShell scripting (this is a must-have)
- Experience operating in Azure-integrated environments
- Track record of improving systems through automation and design, not just support
Strong Signal (Highly Valued)
We prioritize candidates with relevant Microsoft certifications:
- Microsoft MD-102
- Microsoft AZ-104
- Microsoft SC-300
Bonus:
Nice to Have
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or VDI experience
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code or DevOps practices
- Some familiarity with macOS environments (not a focus)
