[What the role is] The Senior Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) supports the operation, maintenance and lifecycle management of mechanical and electrical systems across CAAS facilities. The role contributes to ensuring the reliability, safety and availability of mission critical and aviation related infrastructure, while supporting the delivery of improvement, upgrading and replacement works. [What you will be working on] Support the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, including ACMV, fire protection, electrical distribution and essential power, to ensure the safe and reliable operation of facilities, including contributing to the development and review of maintenance requirements. Be involved in the development and taking over of new or upgraded facilities and systems, including supporting commissioning and handover activities and contributing to the review of design requirements to ensure readiness for operational needs. Assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of improvement, upgrading and lifecycle replacement projects for mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure that maintenance activities and project works comply with applicable statutory requirements, codes of practice and regulatory standards. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, service providers and internal stakeholders on operational, maintenance and project‑related matters, and support inspections, reviews and reporting as required. [What we are looking for] Qualifications Trained in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with preferably having least 5 years of relevant working experience Experience Relevant experience in the design involvement, operation, maintenance and/or project delivery of mechanical and electrical systems in building or infrastructure environments, including participation in design reviews or coordination with consultants. Experience with systems such as ACMV, fire protection, plumbing, low‑voltage electrical distribution, essential power and UPS systems. Competencies & Attributes Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems across design, installation, commissioning and operation. Ability to support design reviews, commissioning, handover and take‑over activities for new or upgraded facilities. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and familiar with Building Information Modelling (BIM) for reviewing and coordinating design information. Working knowledge of contractor coordination and site supervision.
