Antares Capital is seeking a versatile, hands-on Senior Engineer, WSO to serve as the enterprise technical owner of the S&P Wall Street Office (WSO) platform. This role is responsible for ensuring platform stability, scalability, integration architecture, and governance across the firm. This role can be located in New York, Chicago or Atlanta.
This individual will play a critical role within Technology, partnering closely with Credit, Operations, Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Compliance to ensure WSO is optimized, properly integrated, and aligned with evolving business needs. The role drives end-to-end ownership of the platform lifecycle, including production support, integration design, release management, and vendor coordination.
The individual will oversee platform performance, manage system interdependencies, and ensure effective execution of enhancements and upgrades within a controlled and governed framework.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical product owner for WSO across Production, UAT, Development, and Disaster Recovery environments.
- Establish configuration standards, environment strategy, and change governance.
- Manage version upgrades, patching cycles, and release coordination.
- Maintain system documentation, data dictionaries, and architecture diagrams.
- Oversee user access governance in partnership with Operations and Compliance.
- Ensure system controls align with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Design, build, and manage API and file-based integrations between WSO and enterprise systems including: Fund Accounting platforms, data warehouse and reporting systems, risk and treasury systems, third-party loan platforms (e.g., ClearPar, Markit)
- Develop and maintain inbound/outbound data feeds and SFTP processes.
- Own data mapping standards, transformation logic, and validation controls.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting for integration failures.
- Drive automation and modernization initiatives, including API-first architecture adoption.
- Lead technical triage and resolution of WSO production issues.
- Partner with Operations to determine root cause (configuration, integration, vendor defect, or user error).
- Manage escalation and coordination with the WSO vendor.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
- Monitor system performance, batch processing, and interface health.
- Track recurring defects and implement structural remediation.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancement deployments.
- Oversee system integration testing and support business-led UAT.
- Ensure controlled promotion of changes across environments.
- Maintain alignment between Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
- Partner with Infrastructure teams on performance, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Partner with stakeholders across Credit, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Treasury to support platform capabilities.
- Maintain working knowledge of loan lifecycle events, accounting impacts, and portfolio reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance data integrity.
- Support audit inquiries and control validation activities.
- Serve as the primary Technology contact for the WSO vendor.
- Participate in vendor roadmap discussions and release reviews.
- Monitor SLA performance and coordinate issue remediation.
- Support Disaster Recovery testing and Business Continuity planning.
- Ensure platform risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated appropriately.
- Define and track KPIs related to system stability, integration performance, incident trends.
- Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, automation, and scalability.
- Enhance governance frameworks, monitoring capabilities, and operational controls.
- Contribute to broader enterprise architecture and technology standards.
