This is a position under Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Department. We are looking for a candidate with an analytical mind and ability to pull together large numerical datasets and prepare clear and concise schedules and reports. The candidate will work with experts from different areas of the business and functions. On the job coaching will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Your responsibilities will be to:
· Financial data processing, handling and analysis (e.g. extracting numerical data and preparing schedules): Provide analytical support to managers the management and other departments to facilitate decision making
· Prepare accurate monthly reports (e.g. sales reports, sales bridges, reports in Power BI) and analyse (e.g. variance analysis, trend analysis, etc) performance results for management review
· Participate in the annual budget, forecast and strategic business plan exercise, including but not limited to financial modeling and consolidation
· Work with Business Units in the forecasting and budgeting process, including but not limited to data supports, presentation deck template preparation, sales analysis, etc
· Utilize effectively and leverage Company systems and analytic tools (TM1, Cognos Controller and Power-BI)
· Perform consolidation, review and validation of submissions from functions
· Drive the standardization of FP&A templates, KPIs and reporting methodologies
· Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools and analytics capabilities
· Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer
· Assist with ad-hoc analysis, presentations and special projects as required
Our requirements:
· Bachelor or above in Accounting, Finance or other disciplines
· Around 3-5 years’ experience in auditing, accounting, business reporting and analysis area.
· Big 4 background preferably with commercial experience
· With strong numerical sense and analytical abilities
· Comfortable with handling large numerical datasets
· Proactive mentality with learning agility and the ability to work in fast-paced environment and under tight timeline
· Preferably CPA qualified
· Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese, including Mandarin
· Proficiency in MS Office including Excel
