Key Responsibilities
Business analytics, Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting packs (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow where applicable), including variance analysis vs. budget/forecast and prior year.
- Support finance controllers the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
- Work closely with Business and Operations teams to understand performance drivers (volume, price, mix, yield, scrap, labor and overhead absorption) and provide actionable insights across all regions and segments
- Support SG&A, CAPEX and sales reporting, including tracking, analysis, and follow-up on key initiatives.
- Coordinate budgeting and rolling forecast cycles; build/maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making and assist in 5-year strategy plan process
- Support manufacturing finance activities such as standard costing maintenance, product costing analysis, margin bridge, and cost reduction tracking (as applicable to the site/business).
- Prepare business review materials for leadership (monthly/quarterly) and present key messages, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Ad-hoc analysis to support pricing, customer/product profitability, make/buy assessments, and performance improvement projects.
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:
- Support the adoption and utilization of business intelligence tools and data analytics practices to enhance financial decision-making and operational insights.
- Support the enhancement of financial systems and ERP integrations to improve reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Drive reporting improvements through automation, standardization and simplification (e.g., Power BI dashboards, Excel models, and workflow enhancements).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Qualified professional accountant (e.g. CPA, CMA, ACCA)
- 6 years of progressive experience in FP&A/management accounting/controlling, with exposure to a manufacturing environment is highly preferable.
- With Big 4 external audit experience (or equivalent top-tier audit firm)
- Strong commercial/business partnering experience, able to translate data into recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI (and/or other BI tools). Knowledge of Power Automate is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; comfortable working with large datasets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across functions and levels.
- Proactive, hands-on, learning agility and continuous improvement mindset.
- Candidates with stronger leadership/project ownership experience may be considered for Lead level.
- Willing to work in Tai Po industrial estate or Shatin Science Park
