Overview of the Role
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted advisor to the business to help inform and guide decision making through business partner support and innovative and insightful analyses. We are looking for a bright, goal oriented individual that will succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in building and improving processes that will allow the company to scale with growth. The Corporate team runs the Company’s short & long term financial planning processes. As a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA), you will play an integral role assisting the short term planning team. This is a high visibility, high impact role where you will interact with senior leadership on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Own annual Plan processes & budget target management, tracking risks & opportunities, & creating budget review materials for EVP of Finance & COFO
- Create and present ad hoc financial & scenario analysis including but not limited to total company operating margin, strategic spend, external P&L and expense trends
- Partner proactively with Revenue, Treasury, Tax & other Finance teams during the Company’s key planning processes & quarterly earnings cycles in the development of consolidated Plan, Outlook, and Results deliverables
- Support quarterly external guidance process in partnership with Investor Relations by providing insights on total company operating margin, earnings per share, and other key guided metrics
- Support broader plan/OL team financial modeling & reviews as needed for FX, OIE, Purchased Intangibles, Tax info, & geographic investment analyses
- Own the total company operational scorecard for the COFO highlighting the forecasts & results of key topline, headcount, and efficiency performance metrics in partnership with F&S
- Partner across Close/Outlook/LRP teams to operationalize more real-time P&L updates in scenario model & understand the flow through on 3-statement financials (current year & LRP)
- Build & maintain cross functional relationships with the broader F&S team
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years related experience in FP&A, Accounting, Analytics, or Management Consulting
- Foundational FP&A experience required with a deep knowledge of financial statements
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with competing priorities and influence at all levels within the organization
- Advanced skill with financial modeling in Excel or GSheets
- Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-aware and responsive
- Experience creating Powerpoint/Google Slide presentations for management.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Large-scale technology or SaaS company experience preferred
- Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights/Workday Adaptive Planning) and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Proven process-improvement track record
This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
