Our client, a prominent global investment bank, is actively seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in the heart of Miami, Florida . This role requires a dedicated professional to support key financial operations and strategic decision-making within the banking sector. The Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and market analysis, contributing directly to the firm's investment strategies and client advisory services.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising activities. Conducting in-depth due diligence on potential investment opportunities and target companies. Performing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the financial markets. Preparing presentations and reports for senior management, clients, and investment committees. Assisting in the execution of transactions, including LBOs, IPOs, and debt financings. Analyzing financial statements and key performance indicators to assess company health and investment potential. Collaborating with deal teams across various departments, including M&A, capital markets, and research. Monitoring portfolio performance and providing ongoing financial analysis for existing investments. Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data and models. Staying abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the financial sector. Contributing to the development of new business initiatives and strategic planning. Mentoring junior analysts and supporting their professional development. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. An MBA or CFA charter is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity. Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills are required. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and capital markets. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, CapIQ) is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. High level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
