Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their Investment Banking division in Dallas, Texas, US . This role is integral to providing critical financial insights, supporting complex transactions, and driving strategic decision-making within the firm. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence support, and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management and clients. You will work closely with deal teams, corporate finance professionals, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytical products. Key responsibilities include: developing sophisticated financial models to support mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic initiatives; conducting in-depth industry and company research; performing valuation analysis using various methodologies (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies); assisting with the preparation of client presentations and pitch books; and supporting due diligence processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate finance principles, accounting, and financial markets. Proven experience in financial modeling and valuation is essential. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills are required. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or CFA charter is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial advisory, or a related analytical role is expected. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is a must. The ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines is critical.
