Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including monthly and quarterly performance reviews, variance analyses, and executive summaries. Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business cases. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear explanations and recommendations. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of reporting. Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Conduct profitability analysis and cost management studies. Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into drivers of performance. Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities and investments. Stay current with accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems. Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management. Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on financial analysis techniques. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reports and models. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation) and experience with financial software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. CPA or CFA designation is a strong plus. Experience in (relevant industry, e.g., technology, manufacturing) is preferred.
