Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Tax
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $115K - $125K + Bonus
Stable Law Practice looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of partner distribution schedule on monthly basis and as required for upload to payroll service provider (ADP)
- Responsible for partner deductions including deductions for retirement contributions
- Preparation of senior counsel payments on monthly basis
- Preparation of retirement payment schedule on monthly basis
- Maintain partner paid-in capital schedule on monthly basis and prepare return of capital on quarterly basis
- Maintain partner address schedule for preparation of partner K-1’s
- Reconcile intercompany general ledger accounts
- Provide foreign office with intercompany vendor invoices
- Preparation of various state property tax returns on annual basis
- Preparation of various state sales and use tax returns on quarterly basis
- Preparation of fixed asset tax depreciation schedules using FAS depreciation software
- Preparation of various partner deductions for tax return and K-1’s
- Provide partner distribution schedules for auditors (interim and year end audit)
- Assist Director of Taxation with projects as needed
Qualifications:
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or Business required
- 3-5 years of experience required
- Public Accounting experience is desirable
- Analytical and Organizational Skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize schedule for due dates
- Advanced proficiency with Excel/Word/PDF
- Elite (3E) Accounting Software knowledge desirable
- Business Intelligence (Iridium) knowledge desirable
- FAS depreciation software program knowledge desirable
