Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Technology Business Management - TBM)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 6 Months

Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in Technology Business Management (TBM) and IT financial operations. This role will focus on enhancing cost transparency, improving financial accountability, and aligning IT spend with business value across multiple IT service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute TBM Expense Transparency initiatives across IT divisions
  • Develop, maintain, and refine financial models and cost allocation frameworks
  • Partner with IT service owners to validate financial data and improve cost visibility
  • Analyze IT spending and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks for financial transparency
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost modeling, allocation methodologies, and reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Continuously improve data sources, allocation rules, and financial assumptions

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Technology Business Management (TBM), IT financial management, or cost transparency initiatives
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cost allocation methodologies
  • Procurement and contract management
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, automation, scenario analysis)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, Finance, and business teams
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TBM tools and cost transparency reporting (e.g., Power BI dashboards)
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • ServiceNow (ITFM, CMDB, workflows)
  • PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems
  • Familiarity with cost modeling practices and allocation methodologies
