Position Overview
The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our dynamic Analytics and Integration team within Finance Shared Services. This role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, developing automated processes, and delivering operational dashboards and analytics that enable finance leaders and analysts to make faster, data-driven decisions. Location: Mesa, Arizona; Hazelwood, Missouri; or Seattle, Washington. This is a hybrid position, which means the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite, subject to the hiring team’s discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in automation initiatives and contribute to the development of insightful dashboards and tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Automate routine finance processes (data collection, reconciliations, reporting) to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
- Partner with Finance Shared Services teammates to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with the analytics and integration team and other Finance functions to execute continuous improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency.
- Prototype solutions, measure impact, and scale successful automation initiatives.
- Translate financial business processes into scalable solutions requiring a deep understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Estimates at Completion (EAC) data, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience with analytics tools including Tableau, SQL, R, and Python
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience working with financial tools such as Cost Schedule Planning & Reporting (CSPR), Interactive Reporting Environment (IRE), Enterprise Planning and Analysis System (EPAS), Financial Project Cost Report (FPCR), and Enterprise Accounting Systems (EAS)
- Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience with Alteryx
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience with Boeing Financial Systems
- Qualifications: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment
- Proficiency in integrating work across teams, functions, and locations
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively

Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities with summary pay ranges of $122,400 - $165,600 for WA and $114,750 - $155,250 for AZ and MO, based on candidate experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
