Senior FP&A - $20bil Hedge Fund - Hong Kong

We are working with a global hedge fund with over $20bil AUM, who are looking to hire a Senior FP&A professional. This position is particularly well-suited to someone who wants to play a meaningful part in developing and enhancing the firm’s FP&A capability, rather than simply maintaining an established process.

The role will combine core budgeting, forecasting and management reporting responsibilities with a strong focus on improving finance MI, dashboarding and overall data infrastructure. The successful candidate will help the business move towards a more scalable, efficient and insightful FP&A function, leveraging tools such as Power BI to improve reporting quality, accessibility and decision-making across the platform.

Responsibilities will include ownership of monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, business partnering with senior stakeholders, cost and headcount analysis, and supporting strategic planning work. There will also be a key focus on helping to develop finance dashboards, improve data flows and ensure the underlying data infrastructure is robust, efficient and fit for purpose. The role also requires exposure to pass-through structures as this will help the firm to develop a their PM compensation model.

The fund is looking to hire a qualified accountant (3+ years PQE) with extensive hedge fund experience in a role focused on MI reporting or FP&A. They are targeting someone analytically sharp, technically credible and commercially minded, with the ability to operate effectively in a lean team and contribute to the continued evolution of the finance function.
