Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role can be based in any US city. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Position Overview

As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant, Data Analytics, you will use data and analytics to advise client accounts for employers of all sizes regarding their medical, pharmacy, wellness and absence plans and programs. You will leverage Mercer tools, including our data warehouse, to deliver these services to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex client analytics engagements, managing analytics delivery. Collaborate with the core client teams and other specialty practices to use data as the foundation for all of the work we deliver.
  • Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
  • Have a deep understanding of data warehouse tools and methods, and articulate them to clients and prospects.
  • Effectively communicate Mercer's position on the latest industry trends to clients.
  • Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
  • Monitor project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Set strategic direction and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of using data to support employer clients.
  • Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health & benefits field.
  • Client-facing experience in a consulting environment.
  • Sales/growth experience in a consulting environment.

Benefits and Compensation

The applicable base salary range for this role is $212,000 to $318,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
