Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their innovative team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role will focus on optimizing complex processes, systems, and organizational structures for a global clientele. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.

Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth process analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending strategic improvements. You will develop simulation models, conduct statistical analysis, and utilize data-driven approaches to validate proposed solutions. This position requires significant collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT, to ensure successful integration of engineered solutions. You will be responsible for project management, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, all while working remotely.

The Senior Industrial Engineer will also contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the engineering discipline. You will mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including senior management, is crucial. Qualifications:Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, and operations management. Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab). Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Superb communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment. Experience in managing remote teams and projects is a plus.
