Our client, a dynamic manufacturing leader, is seeking a talented Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team in Dallas, Texas, US . This hybrid role offers the opportunity to blend on-site collaboration with remote flexibility, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing complex production systems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process simulation tools.

Key responsibilities include:

Analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategic recommendations. Designing and implementing optimized production layouts, workflows, and material handling systems. Utilizing statistical analysis, simulation software, and other tools to model and improve operational performance. Leading and facilitating Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives. Developing and maintaining performance metrics and reporting dashboards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of improvements. Evaluating and recommending new technologies and equipment to enhance operational capabilities. Providing training and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff on best practices. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and statistical software (e.g., Minitab) is essential. Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools is highly desirable. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with all levels of the organization. This role requires a blend of on-site presence for process observation and team engagement, and remote work for data analysis and report generation.
