Senior Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain and Logistics

Our client, a leader in global supply chain solutions, is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to optimize their logistics and distribution operations. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to contribute from anywhere in the US to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across our supply chain network. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving all aspects of the supply chain, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and material flow. Your expertise will be critical in identifying bottlenecks, reducing costs, improving service levels, and implementing innovative solutions that drive operational excellence. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing lean logistics principles, optimizing warehouse layouts and processes, and designing efficient transportation networks. You will utilize data analysis, simulation tools, and process mapping to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven recommendations. Collaboration with operations managers, logistics coordinators, and IT teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration of improvements and alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a strong track record in supply chain and logistics engineering. Extensive experience with lean methodologies, Six Sigma, process optimization, and network design is essential. Proficiency in supply chain simulation software, WMS, and TMS systems is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are required to lead complex optimization initiatives. You should be adept at communicating technical concepts and findings to diverse audiences, influencing stakeholders, and driving change effectively. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on supply chain and logistics. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization. Experience with supply chain simulation and modeling software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management and communication abilities. Knowledge of WMS and TMS systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
