Our client is a prominent player in the manufacturing sector seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Process Engineer to join their team in Dallas, Texas, US . This role is critical for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining production systems, utilizing your expertise in process simulation, automation, and lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical and problem-solving ability, a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing technologies, and excellent project management skills. You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality control teams to drive operational excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and production systems. Utilize process simulation software to model and optimize production flows and equipment utilization. Apply lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline operations and eliminate waste. Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce manual labor where appropriate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, R&D, and quality assurance, to ensure successful process implementation. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes and report on performance. Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Manage process improvement projects from conception to completion, including defining scope, budget, and timelines. Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and best practices. Stay current with advancements in manufacturing technologies and industrial engineering methodologies. Evaluate and recommend new equipment and technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Contribute to the continuous improvement culture within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial process engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in process analysis, design, and optimization. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC). Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) and CAD software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong project management skills with experience managing complex engineering projects. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and effectively lead cross-functional teams. Knowledge of manufacturing automation technologies (e.g., robotics, PLCs) is a plus. Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement. Experience in the specific industry sector of the client is advantageous. This on-site role is based in Dallas, Texas, US .
