Join our innovative team as a Senior Industrial Process Engineer, based at our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, California, US . This is a critical on-site role focused on driving significant improvements in our industrial operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and product quality. You will be responsible for analyzing complex production systems, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing data-driven solutions. This involves hands-on work with manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to streamline operations and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC). You will collaborate closely with production teams, quality assurance, R&D, and management to translate strategic goals into actionable process enhancements. Key responsibilities include designing new processes, modifying existing ones, conducting feasibility studies, troubleshooting production challenges, and leading continuous improvement projects. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our competitive edge through operational excellence. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing industrial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and systems. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. Utilize statistical methods and SPC to monitor and control process performance. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process changes. Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and resource utilization. Train production personnel on process changes and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial process engineering, with a strong focus on manufacturing environments. Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certification highly desirable), and Kaizen principles. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and SPC tools. Experience with process simulation software is a plus. Strong understanding of automation and robotics in industrial settings. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage projects independently.
