Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Process Engineer. This role is crucial for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and implementing new technologies within our state-of-the-art facilities. You will work closely with production, quality control, and engineering teams to analyze workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Develop and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Design and optimize plant layouts, workflows, and material handling systems. Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. Evaluate and select new equipment and technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Develop and manage project plans for process improvement initiatives, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion. Conduct time studies and ergonomic assessments to optimize workforce productivity and safety. Train production staff on new processes and equipment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and quality. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial engineering. Contribute to the overall strategic planning for manufacturing operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing operations. Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and technical drawings. Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools is desirable. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience in a relevant manufacturing sector (e.g., automotive, electronics, consumer goods). Knowledge of quality control systems and standards. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, production-focused environment. Familiarity with supply chain and logistics optimization.
