We are currently seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to add to our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in projects that drive the core operations of our clients, focusing on advanced semiconductor manufacturing and research facilities.

As a member of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to provide comprehensive, world-class solutions for new facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing P&IDs
  • Sizing valves and specifying instrumentation
  • Panel design and I/O assignments
  • Documenting and modeling design information
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards

Our team is recognized as a leader in the design of semiconductor facilities, delivering innovative solutions that fuel the next generation of technology. This position offers hands-on experience and expert mentorship to further your technical skills and expertise in process control, instrumentation, and automation.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in designing Instrumentation and Control Systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, and DCS systems
  • Ability to work onsite in Portland, OR (hybrid)

Ideally, you will also possess:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in diverse teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A forward-thinking mindset with eagerness to learn best practices
  • A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and broaden your knowledge base
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A passion for buildings and construction
