- The Opportunity*
- In this role, you have the opportunity to:
+ Serve as a
- technical leader and trusted advisor
- for instrumentation, controls, automation, and SCADA projects supporting water and wastewater clients in the West region.
+ Lead and deliver
- I&C planning, design, and SCADA master planning efforts** , while supporting business development pursuits and client relationships.
+ Take ownership of
- project execution and coordination** , guiding multi‑discipline teams, managing scope, schedule, and budgets, and representing Black & Veatch with clients and partners.

- Key Responsibilities*
- + In supportof and alignment to growth strategy for the BV Water Solution Business in the West region,create relationships with clients and act as a liaison between the local design team,client,and remote design teams.
+ Lead business development efforts for I&C-related master plans and design projects. Expectation is to produce marketing content specific to each pursuit, negotiate contracts, and lead projects.
+ Pursue and lead SCADA Assessments and Master Plans to advise utilities on how best to upgrade or replace existing SCADA systems to support operations and maintenance.
+ Manage and coordinate marketing, planning, design and construction phase services for automation, instrumentation, control and SCADA projects for water and wastewater utilities and industrial water pursuits.
+ Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design projects as well as coordinate I&C engineering efforts for large multi-discipline projects.
+ Provide local interface by attending client and contractor meetings, performing field investigations, attending factory acceptance testing, and helping to resolve I&C client and construction issues.
+ Monitor and control project schedule and budgets and assist with proposals and presentations in response to sales opportunities.
