Our client, a prestigious asset management firm, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Investment Analyst to join their portfolio management team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, US . This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, robust analytical capabilities, and a proven track record in investment research and portfolio construction. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of securities, developing investment strategies, constructing and monitoring client portfolios, and contributing to the firm's overall investment decision-making process. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial modeling skills, a thorough knowledge of various asset classes, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fundamental analysis of equities, fixed income, and alternative investments to identify investment opportunities. Develop financial models and valuation analyses for securities across various sectors and industries. Formulate and present investment recommendations to the portfolio management team and clients. Construct and manage diversified investment portfolios aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions. Continuously monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and asset allocation, making necessary adjustments. Stay abreast of macroeconomic trends, market developments, and industry research that may impact investment strategies. Collaborate with relationship managers to understand client needs and provide tailored investment solutions. Prepare and deliver performance reports, market commentaries, and client presentations. Contribute to the firm's investment committee meetings and strategic planning. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. CFA designation or progress towards it is highly preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or equity research within the financial services industry. Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and portfolio theory. In-depth knowledge of various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, ETFs, and mutual funds. Strong understanding of economic principles and their impact on financial markets. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial databases and software (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Refinitiv Eikon). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment within a hybrid work setting.
