Joining our Core Automation Team means becoming part of a dynamic group focused on crafting AI infrastructure and automating solutions that boost productivity and create significant customer impacts. Your contributions will directly streamline operations for our customer support and compliance teams while delivering exceptional experiences to our users.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced machine learning techniques, including large language models (LLMs) and deep learning, to tackle complex challenges organization-wide.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and translate them into actionable quarterly plans.
- Lead project execution by effectively managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Create high-quality, thoroughly tested Python code to meet crucial product and business demands.
- Design robust and secure systems utilizing state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies and best practices.
- Mentor team members on design principles and coding standards while promoting AI productivity tool adoption.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough feature design reviews to ensure security, scalability, and architectural integrity.
What We Look For:
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering.
- Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining production services, emphasizing data processing, machine learning, and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning models, such as LLMs, GNNs, or deep learning techniques.
- Proficiency in areas like data mining, information retrieval, advanced statistics, natural language processing, or computer vision.
- A commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that addresses real-world customer needs.
- A track record of mentoring junior engineers while establishing high standards of excellence.
- A passion for building an inclusive financial system that connects everyone.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing open and transparent practices.
Nice to Haves:
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with GenAI frameworks/tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, Flink, or Databricks.
- Familiarity with model interpretability and responsible AI practices.
- Expertise in data analysis and visualization.
Note: The role requires in-person participation at least periodically, as we hold team and company-wide offsite events annually to promote collaboration and alignment.
The target annual base salary for this position is $218,025 to $256,500 USD, excluding equity and bonuses. Total compensation may also include benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
