Autodesk is seeking a hands-on Marketing Automation & AI Specialist to join the Worldwide Marketing organization. In this role, you will design and build AI-powered and automation-driven workflows that improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and expand the capabilities of the marketing organization. You will be part of a small technical team responsible for developing automation and AI solutions across the marketing ecosystem.

The team partners closely with Marketing Strategy & Planning, Engineering, and Data teams to translate business needs into reliable, scalable technical workflows.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing operations, automation engineering, and applied AI.

Your focus is execution: designing, building, and deploying automation solutions that deliver measurable operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled and automation-driven workflows for marketing processes
  • Use automation and orchestration platforms (e.g., n8n, API integrations, MCP servers) to develop scalable solutions
  • Integrate workflows with Autodesk’s MarTech ecosystem, including campaign and data platforms
  • Apply LLM capabilities and AI tooling to improve marketing productivity and execution quality
  • Partner with Marketing Strategy & Planning to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, and Security teams when workflows require enterprise-grade infrastructure
  • Identify technical risks, constraints, and dependencies early in solution design
  • Ensure solutions align with Autodesk privacy, security, and governance standards
  • Maintain documentation for deployed workflows and integrations
  • Monitor performance and reliability of automation solutions
  • Improve and refactor workflows as new tools, APIs, or capabilities become available
  • Contribute to shared development standards and reusable automation patterns
  • Stay current on emerging AI models, automation tools, and workflow orchestration platforms
  • Experiment with new approaches to improve marketing execution efficiency
  • Share technical insights and best practices with the broader team

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in marketing technology, automation engineering, or digital workflow development
  • Hands-on experience building automation workflows or API integrations
  • Experience working with enterprise marketing systems and campaign execution processes
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, data, and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation and orchestration platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, custom API integrations, MCP servers)
  • Working knowledge of AI models, LLM applications, prompt orchestration, and AI-driven workflow design
  • Experience with enterprise MarTech platforms, including:
  • Experience using Salesforce and Marketo
  • Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Twilio Segment, ActionIQ)
  • Marketing planning tools (e.g., UpTempo)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex needs into scalable systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization

The Ideal Candidate

  • Builder mindset — enjoys designing and shipping working systems
  • Strong technical curiosity and interest in AI-driven workflows
  • Comfortable working across marketing and engineering teams
  • Pragmatic about balancing speed with reliability and governance
  • Thrives in small teams with high ownership
