What is the role?

As the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of data capabilities across Commercial Banking Operations (CBO). You will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, shaping and delivering a forward-looking data strategy that enhances decision-making, risk visibility, and operational performance.

This role combines people leadership, deep technical expertise, and business acumen. You will build and lead a high-performing analytics team, drive the development of scalable data solutions, and translate complex data insights into clear, actionable narratives for executive stakeholders. You will champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and establish a strong, standardized data foundation across CBO.

What will you do?

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data and analytics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Own and execute the CBO data strategy aligned to business priorities and establish scalable data frameworks, governance, and “single source of truth” datasets
  • Oversee the development of advanced analytics, reporting, and data products and identify opportunities where data can drive measurable business value
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional partners, translate complex data into clear insights for senior leadership and enable proactive risk identification and performance optimization
  • Guide the design and implementation of modern data solutions, automation and analytics tools, ensuring best practices in data architecture, data quality and lineage
  • Leverage emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities and communicate complex analytical concepts in a simplified, business-friendly manner
  • Collaborate across teams to align data initiatives with enterprise priorities and drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics processes, and data accessibility
  • Standardize metrics, definitions, and reporting across CBO and enable timely, informed decision-making through efficient data delivery

What do you need?

Must-have

  • Proven experience in people leadership, with the ability to build and scale high-performing teams
  • Deep technical expertise in data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Teradata)
  • Strong experience developing and executing data strategies in complex, multi-layered environments
  • Advanced proficiency in data modeling, reporting, and analytics solution design
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling business insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in engaging senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive strategic outcomes

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in Commercial Banking Operations or similar operational environments
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Understanding of Big Data Analytics
