SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The ERM Senior Manager is a senior member of the Company's ERM team, responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive ERM programs across MOHH Company and the Group. This role involves leadership in risk management, developing enterprise-wide risk frameworks, providing advisory services to senior stakeholders, and driving organisational risk culture transformation. The position requires advanced expertise in managing complex risk portfolios and leading cross-functional teams to ensure robust risk governance across the healthcare group.
JOB OVERVIEW
ERM Leadership and Partnership:
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide risk management programs aligned with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as advisor to senior stakeholders on complex risk matters and risk decisions.
- Provide guidance to ERM team members, including Managers and Assistant Managers.
- Champion risk management initiatives across the Group and drive integration of risk considerations into planning processes.
- Lead stakeholder engagement at senior stakeholder level to ensure effective risk governance and accountability.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ERM Framework Development and Governance:
- Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of the Company's comprehensive ERM Framework to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement ERM policies, procedures, and governance structures that support organisational objectives.
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry developments that may impact the healthcare sector and the Group.
- Lead the integration of ERM considerations into planning and organisational initiatives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of risk appetite statements and tolerance levels across the Group.
Risk Assessment and Portfolio Management:
- Lead comprehensive enterprise-wide risk assessments and develop integrated risk profiles for the Company and Group entities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of risk monitoring and key risk indicator frameworks.
- Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex risk data to provide insights to senior stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external risk management consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Business Continuity and Crisis Management:
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide business continuity and crisis management frameworks.
- Oversee major incident response coordination and provide guidance during crisis situations.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and lead the implementation of lessons learned.
- Ensure robust business continuity planning and testing.
Incident Management and Issue Closure Validation:
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide incident management frameworks.
- Oversee incident investigations, provide guidance for corrective actions and risk-based validation for incident action plan closure.
Team and Organisational Development:
- Guide and mentor the ERM team, providing guidance on complex risk management matters and professional development.
- Drive organisational risk culture transformation through communication and change management initiatives.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive risk management training programs for senior stakeholders and staff.
- Foster collaboration between ERM function and other key departments including Group entities ERM functions, Internal Audit and Compliance.
Risk Reporting and Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare and present comprehensive risk management reports to management and risk committees.
- Lead regular risk committee meetings and provide risk insights to support decision-making.
- Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including regulators, industry bodies, and peer organisations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and industry standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement(s):
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in Risk Management, with at least 3-5 years in senior roles.
- Professional Risk Management certification strongly preferred.
Other requirements / qualities:
- Extensive knowledge of Risk Management frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices, particularly in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing enterprise-wide Risk Management programs and leading organisational change initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage complex risk portfolios.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across all organisational levels.
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
