Unity is seeking a strong UX Design Leader to join our Go-To-Market (GTM) and Marketplace organization. This is a high-impact leadership role with a broad scope, overseeing the end-to-end journey from the first marketing touchpoint to the deepest layers of our commerce and learning ecosystems.

You will lead a global team of talented UX designers, shaping how millions of creators discover, learn about, and purchase Unity's suite of products and services. From the initial marketing impression to the Unity.com website, the learning pathways, and the complex commerce stack—including licensing, entitlements, and asset acquisition—you will ensure a seamless, connected, and strategic experience across the entire organization.

What you'll be doing

Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of UX designers, promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork, and inclusivity.

End-to-End User Journey: Own the UX product strategy, taking into account the entire GTM funnel, including marketing interactions, the Unity.com website layer, and the learning ecosystem.

Commerce & Licensing: Oversee the design of intuitive commerce workflows, managing how users and customers interact with purchases, entitlements, and product licensing.

Asset Store & Ecosystem: Exercise UX ownership of the Asset Store and ensure various asset elements intertwine seamlessly with other products at Unity.

Systems Thinking: Employ design thinking to reason through complex systems and integrations, championing a connected experience across all touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Engineering leaders to align design goals with strategic business objectives.

AI Innovation: Champion UX improvements and innovative design solutions in a world of AI, ensuring Unity remains at the forefront of the industry.

What we're looking for

Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in UX leadership, with a track record of managing and growing design teams on a global scale.

Strategic Visionary: Ability to develop a strategic viewpoint of a connected experience, looking beyond individual products to the entire ecosystem.

Systems Expert: Strong understanding of complex systems and integrations required to deliver a unified user experience.

Communication & Influence: Excellent collaborator with strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills; able to lead design conversations and conduct reviews with senior leadership.

Commerce Experience: Proficiency in designing for commerce stacks, marketplaces, or licensing systems is highly valued.

Technical Awareness: A natural curiosity for technology and a passion for empowering creativity through innovative tools.
