Emerson is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Singapore operations. ## What You'll Do

Your day-to-day work will focus on enhancing manufacturing efficiency through workflow improvements, layout optimization, and automation solutions. You'll have the chance to lead or participate in training and qualification activities for new product introductions and technology transfers—work that directly shapes how we scale operations. When unexpected issues arise, you'll provide the engineering support needed to address out-of-control situations, resolve process problems, and drive both preventive and corrective actions.

Beyond troubleshooting, you'll conduct capacity studies to identify bottleneck opportunities and work on digital transformation initiatives that support our broader operational excellence goals. Throughout everything you do, you'll ensure our processes and equipment remain aligned with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.

## Who You Are

You're someone who builds strong partnerships and collaborates effectively to meet team objectives. You have the ability to think critically and act quickly in fast-paced, unexpected situations. Most importantly, you consistently deliver results and see responsibilities through to completion, even when circumstances get challenging.

## What You'll Need

You should bring a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are essential—this is core to the role. You'll also need solid interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities. On the technical side, proficiency in computer skills is important, specifically with ERP systems, MS Excel, Word, Visio, and Power. Point.

## What Sets You Apart

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is highly preferred and will strengthen your candidacy. Experience in project management—particularly in Lean, digitalization, or automation initiatives—demonstrates the kind of forward-thinking approach we value. If you have interest or experience with Power BI, SQL queries, programming, Power Automate, or Power Apps, that's a meaningful bonus that shows you're staying current with modern tools.
