Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing facility in Atlanta, Georgia, US . This critical role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead projects focused on improving production methods, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical or industrial engineering principles, with a proven track record of success in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing process control strategies, and troubleshooting production issues. You will work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and R&D to ensure that all manufacturing activities meet stringent quality standards and production targets. This role also involves evaluating and recommending new equipment, tooling, and automation solutions to drive innovation and competitive advantage. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical drawings. Collaboration with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components will also be a key aspect of this position. A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing principles is essential. This is an in-office position, requiring full-time presence at our Atlanta facility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process design and optimization. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, automation, and production systems. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and simulation tools. Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong project management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization. Experience in the specific industry (e.g., automotive, electronics, consumer goods) is highly desirable.
