Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes. This role is based in our state-of-the-art facility in Atlanta, Georgia, US . You will be instrumental in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in lean manufacturing principles, process analysis, and project management within a production environment. Responsibilities include analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions. You will lead projects focused on implementing new technologies, improving equipment utilization, and streamlining workflows. This involves collaborating closely with production teams, quality assurance, R&D, and supply chain management. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Proven experience with lean manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) and a strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) are required. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with production simulation tools are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills are essential.
