Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their advanced manufacturing operations in the heart of New York City, New York . This critical role focuses on optimizing and refining production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a substantial track record in manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for analyzing existing manufacturing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Key responsibilities include developing and validating new production processes, creating detailed process documentation, and conducting root cause analysis for production issues. You will work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and R&D to troubleshoot problems, implement corrective actions, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies or equipment. Experience with process simulation, statistical process control (SPC), and automation technologies is highly desirable. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing). 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment. Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork. Experience in process validation and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
