Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their globally distributed team, working remotely. This role is crucial for optimizing and innovating production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across various manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced process control techniques. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production lines, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to improve throughput and reduce waste. Key responsibilities include developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), designing and validating new manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, R&D, and supply chain management, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable improvements. Experience with process simulation software, CAD tools, and statistical analysis software is highly desirable. The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer will also play a key role in training and mentoring production staff on new processes and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a remote-first role, you will need excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with teams located in different geographical regions, utilizing virtual collaboration tools and platforms. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with process optimization and problem-solving. Proficiency with CAD software and statistical analysis tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work. Ability to analyze complex data and implement data-driven solutions. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment.
