🚀 Senior Mechanical Engineer (Structures) – Full Vehicle Ownership

We’re partnering with an advanced aerospace programme seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Structures) to take full ownership of a next-generation flight vehicle’s structural architecture.

This is not a subsystem position. You’ll operate as the technical authority across the entire vehicle, shaping structure from early concept through to build, test, and flight.

Scope highlights:

• Own primary structure, payload integration, and thermal protection interfaces
• Lead design, analysis (FEA + hand calcs), and manufacturing readiness
• Drive cross-functional integration across extreme environments (launch → orbit → re-entry)
• Support hands-on build, test, and iteration cycles

What they’re looking for:

• 10+ years delivering flight-ready aerospace structures
• Experience owning full vehicle or top-level assemblies
• Strong capability in FEA (NASTRAN/ANSYS), GD&T, and CAD (NX/SolidWorks)
• Background in spacecraft, launch vehicles, or re-entry systems
