We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in equipment design and manufacturing environments to join a leading team at Sullivan Park, Corning, NY .
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical/process equipment using SolidWorks
- Support installation, startup, and debugging of equipment on-site
- Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for structural validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, etc.)
- Work closely with vendors and manage equipment build & installation
✅ Requirements:
- 7+ years of mechanical design experience
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment environments
- Hands-on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and installation
- Knowledge of machine safety standards (OSHA)
Location: Corning, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months (possible extension)
