Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their innovative product development team in **Miami, Florida, US**. This role is critical to the design, integration, and testing of complex mechanical systems for our next-generation products. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and validate complex mechanical systems and subsystems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and cost targets. Integrate mechanical components with electrical, software, and other systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal functionality. Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and create comprehensive engineering documentation. Perform advanced engineering analysis, including thermal analysis, vibration analysis, and structural integrity assessments. Define system requirements, create system architecture, and develop system test plans. Lead and mentor junior engineers on mechanical design principles and system integration best practices. Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and system integration issues during development and production. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of mechanical systems, documenting results and recommending improvements. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in mechanical engineering and systems design. Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on systems design and integration. Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and drafting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science. Experience with system integration, requirements definition, and test & validation. Proven ability to analyze complex mechanical problems and develop innovative solutions. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Experience working in a hands-on engineering environment within **Miami, Florida, US**. Familiarity with project management principles and ability to manage technical tasks.
