Job Description

Lead end-to-end portfolio management and financial accounting for leasing products. Ensure accurate reporting and compliance while providing exceptional service to clients and internal partners.

This Senior Portfolio Management Officer role focuses on managing the complete lifecycle of leasing products, from booking to contract expiry. You will work collaboratively with various teams, interpret customer inquiries, and support branch personnel with portfolio administration. An emphasis on problem-solving and proactive financial approaches is essential in aligning business strategies with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion customer-focused initiatives to deepen client relationships
  • Interpret client queries and restructure transactions
  • Prepare necessary documentation for leasing products
  • Manage the Scotia Leasing General Ledger per accounting standards
  • Conduct daily cash accounting and reconciliations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an Accounting/Finance role
  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and banking regulations
  • Post-secondary education with an Accounting focus
  • Working towards a CPA or similar designation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Excel in portfolio management and financial accounting while delivering high customer service standards.
