Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Performance Engineer, you'll lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance and scalability of Sales Cloud products and applications. Your proficiency in managing real-world data challenges will be vital in improving system efficiencies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of development experience, with a minimum of 5+ years focusing on optimizing large-scale applications and databases.
• Strong understanding of database fundamentals and architecture for both structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++, with solid object-oriented programming skills emphasizing optimization, design patterns, and best practices for performance and scalability.
• Expertise in optimizing SQL queries, specifically with Oracle or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM models and GPU technologies.
• Development experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle, or other database technologies.
• Solid knowledge of schema design and SQL development.
• Experience with IAAS solutions (AWS or GCP), with additional knowledge of multi-tenant architectures considered a plus.
• A proven track record in designing and optimizing systems for performance and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, JS frameworks, and browser internals.
• Expertise in performance profiling and optimizing JavaScript & CSS, including memory leak detection and resolution.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of performance engineering concepts, methodologies, tools, and metrics is a significant advantage.
• A relevant technical degree is required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with structured and unstructured databases.
• Java feature development experience.
• Experience in developing frameworks and tools for performance measurement and analysis to validate optimizations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Linux operating system and its monitoring capabilities.
• Experience in building SaaS applications.
• Experience in managing and addressing production escalations, monitoring, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design methodologies.
• Familiarity with agile and test-driven development practices.
