Role: Senior Platform Engineer (AWS & DevOps)
Location: Singapore
We are partnering with a leading telecom client to hire a Senior Platform Engineer . They will leads a small team of junior engineers to build and operate a unified internal platform (Backstage developer portal + feature-flag/experimentation services). The role enables self-service infrastructure, safe feature releases, and a paved-road approach, embedding automation, security, compliance, observability, and cost controls from day one.
Requirements
- Experience in medium-to-large technology or financial services organizations with complex cloud-native environments and multiple engineering teams; exposure to enterprise-grade developer platforms or internal tooling initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, VPC, observability), container orchestration, IaC/CaC, and platform automation
- Hands-on experience with Backstage or similar developer portals and feature-flag/experimentation platforms (GrowthBook, LaunchDarkly, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with security/compliance standards (MAS-TRM, CSA)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps-related certifications are a plus.
